| Dear Carvin,just thought i'd drop you a line and let you know how satisfied i am with your guitar pickups. i recently purchased an m 22 sd and a pair of tbh 60's and installed them in a charvel cx 692. they turned that guitar into a real screamer for sure! The oem pups were thin.. trebly.. and rather lifeless which is why i decided to replace them. i did my home work too. i considered duncans and di marzio's.. but decided fralin's were not what this guitar needed. i went through the carvin catalog and after spending alot of time thinking and comparing i picked the m 22 sd and tbh 60's. price was one consideration.. but tone was more important. i've got to tell you that your pups kick some pretty wicked ass! the m 22 sd sounds awesome. nice shred.. cleans up nicely when i back down.. and sustain up the ying yang. the thb 60's are nice and full sounding.. and give this guitar a real single coil feel. smooth and buttery. i overdrive this guitar into a marshall half stack.. and i've got to say i couldn't be more pleased with the results. it's just what the doctor ordered for this guitar. thanks for making a great product.. and i look forward to considering carvin pups for my next project.
